The project is a conceptual integrated design of an efficient and health-effective product for
daily use, especially in health sector. This project aims to design a water-sustaining via
infectious diseases-protect product. The product is an integrated system with hand-wash,
normal tab and ablution systems. This invention differs from existing technologies because
the product does not use any hand contact when using soap to hand wash, water to rinse the
hand and also when performing Ablution. Infrared sensors are used to change the mode state
whether user want to use normal mode, Ablution mode or hand washing mode. Research on
detection sensitivity detected by infrared sensors to any objects in front of the sensor have
been done and PIC 18F4580 microcontroller is used to control the output of the infrared
sensor to activate valves and pumps to drain out the soap and water. With this product, users can reduce up to 70% of water consumption. Methodology and results are explained in the
paper.
