Web-based claim management system
Abstract
The project title for this thesis is Web-based claim management system for Department of Electronic Engineering Technology of Faculty of Engineering Technology. This project is to develop a web-based claim management system that allows the staff to apply travel claim through online. This system is using PHP programming languages and uses the MySQL for the database. In order to make the system can connect to the database, the researcher had installed XAMPP that contains Phpmyadmin for managing the database, Apache server and can make the interface to interact with the database using MySQL Statements and PHP. There are three main modules for this system which is staffs’ registration, claim request, and claim approval. For this system, there are two users which are staff and admin. The first module is the staffs’ registration module. This
module will be used by the staff that allows them to register new account the system.
The second module is the claim request that will be used by staffs of Department of
Electronic Engineering Technology from Faculty of Engineering Technology. The staff
can apply the claim, can view their claim history and also can view their claim status.
The third module is the claim approval. This module will be used by the Admin. The
Admin can approve or reject the pending claim and also can view staff’s claim history.
