dc.description.abstractImplementing steganograpic algorithm in image authentication application is the study about how to implement a steganographic algorithm in passport as a safety security. Steganography technique is use to develop security measures for important passport data and to protect the originality of the passport image. Information can be embedded in a text file and an image. Information can be embedded in an image by making minute changes to the image so as to make the information cannot be seen. This project is benefits for an authorities to be implemented in passport security to check the internal security of Malaysia passport. Nowadays, in Malaysia, passport security just focused on physical appearance only such as holograms, ink(special ink for passport), security printing, and electronic chip. This system which is can be a new form of security which can be able to become a new security measures for authorities. If succeed, this project can be commercialize into office security. Finally, if accepted by a government, this project can be a new security method that can be used by Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia to check the passport originality.en_US
