dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this study are to identify the common ergonomics issues or problems in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and to implement low-cost ergonomics improvement for SME based on selected company. This study was implemented to 7 workers in the industry that produced fish sausages (keropok lekor) at Sinku Food Industries Sdn Bhd. The methods was used to identify the problems occur in ergonomics that effects the Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) are Nordic Questionnaire, RULA and REBA. The results from this methods shows every workers have potential to get ergomics risk that affects from the postures problems when working everyday. After identified the problems, the low-cost improvements was implemented to reduce and eliminate the ergonomic problems. The improvements were done more focusing in four components such as workstation, material storage and handling, factory environment and welfare facilities (health and safety).en_US
