dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this Final Year Project is to understanding the knowledge and
theoretical of three phase transformer. The three phase transformer which is step-up from
415V to 1000V with a capacity 5kVA has been designed. In this project, the design is
included core and winding. In core design, the core material has been chosen for
transformer design. Type of high efficiency core stack has to choose to make a core
cutting. The number of winding has calculated to let the voltage at primary side step up to
secondary side. After finish the core cutting and number of winding, the core and
winding is assembly to be full product. The testing such as polarity test, ratio test, short
circuit test, open circuit test and load test are done on the transformer. The tests are done
to know the efficiency of transformer. From the result of investigation, it found that
parameter impedance is Z1 is 19.51+j19.81Ω and Z2 is 1.121+j1.138Ω. The maximum
efficiency of transformer is 95.26 percent when the induced voltage is 5.01V. Therefore,
the design is more efficiency, more stable and low noise which environment friendly. | en_US |
