Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of austenitic stainless steels of types 304, 310 and 316 will be investigated as a function of applied stress at room temperature in natrium chloride solutions under a constant applied stress condition. The stress dependence of fracture appearance and parameters of time to cracking, and cracking growth .The results will be explained in terms of comparison between the three types in cracking growth.en_US
