Students’ Learning Style (LS) had been recognized as a major component in a teaching and learning. The successful execution of teaching and learning could be improved by taking into consideration the students’ LS. On the other hand, Vigilance or sustained attention is a personality trait that student should possess in order to experience quality learning. In this research, the Kolb’s Learning Style Inventory (KLSI) and
Electroencephalogram (EEG) were used to verify participants’ LS and Vigilance. 41 students’ LS were grouped into Diverging,
Assimilating, Converging or Accommodating style using KLSI. Then, their brain waves were recorded whereby the Vigilance indices and Asymmetry Relational Ratio (ARR) formula had been adopted to analyze the EEG. The finding shows that Diverging is the Vigilance-bound LS.
