The objective of this project is to study and analyze the extraction method used to obtain data for the peppermint oil derivatives. The method are steam distillation extraction ( used hexane solvent and water as entrainer), high pressure extraction unit (used hexane solvent and water as entrainer) and reviewed experiment extraction to have high pressure extraction using CO2 as solvent. Simulate experimental data after calculated from reference (1) and compare the data with theoretical data calculated from Peng-Robinson equation of state for system carbon dioxide / limonene and carbon dioxide / myrcene. Graph was plotted to compare experimental and calculated pressure versus mole fraction of carbon dioxide for the system 40°C and 60°C where time equal to 2 hours and 4 hours.en_US
