Foundation students in engineering should have a strong basic in calculus. The aims for this study are to investigate the level of mathematical thinking among students in solving calculus problems and to reveal the correlation between students’ performance in Mathematics and the levels of taxonomy. A set of test instrument comprises 12 objective questions will be used in this study. This test is designed according to the six levels of thinking based on Bloom’s taxonomy which each level consists of two objective questions.
