Abstract: | In manufacturing, there is one of most complex technological process for machining of bevel gears and hypoid gears with spiral tooth. For these processes, special designed machine tools (with complex manuals for calculation gear geometry) and set up procedure of gear cutting process are needed. Design of these machine tools is based on separately cutting of each side of spiral tooth and two sided tooth cutting process. These technologies are used in gear manufacturing area around hundred years and such engineering solutions have limitations in productivity and quality of the bevel gears. Due to this, manufacturers of gear cutting machine tools work to find new progressive design of technology and machine tools. This paper will presents a new technological approach of bevel gears machining by spiral tooth that can increase productivity and quality of very complex types of toothed gears. |
