Abstract: Jawi knowledge is becoming important not just to adult but also to growing children. There is a niche for growing or young children to learn at the initial stage of their life. This project basically is to develop an Embedded Jawi Generator System that will generate and create Jawi script easily. The user could choose and enter Jawi alphabets and listen to the sounds of the Jawi scripts. The sum of alphabets was from alif until yaa, approximately about 36 alphabets with the colorful button. This system also should be create as an interactive system that will attract kids. This Jawi Generator Software will develops from a java language in a Linux operating system (ubuntu) and will run on Single Board Computer TS7200 (SBC TS-7200) board. Later the performance and achievement of the system need to be tested for its accuracy in pronouncing of the words.
Description: MUCEET 2009 is organized by Malaysian Technical Universities Network (MTUN) comprising of Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM), Universiti Teknikal Melaka (UTeM) and Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), 20th - 22nd June 2009 at M. S. Garden Hotel, Kuantan, Pahang.
