dc.description.abstract | The strong convergence trend towards all-IP technologies has revolutionized the way in which people obtain the information. Since then, various systems have been developed to enable anytime and anywhere communication and to ensure seamless data exchange regardless of location and place. Increasingly, numerous protocols have also been engineered in order to realize seamless handoff at extremely fast movement speed and to maintain the ongoing session during fast migration process (handover). This paper highlights the performance comparison and analysis between a seamless mobility protocol known as SIGMA and its enhanced version for fast movement scenarios. The comparison study demonstrates substantial performance improvement in the proposed scheme. | en_US |
