Abstract: Artificial Intelligence chatbot is a technology that makes interaction between man and machine using natural language possible. In this paper, we proposed a technique named Sequence Words Deleted (SWD) for used in the process of chatbot pattern matching. This technique are based on the combination of ELIZA (direct keywords match) and A.L.I.C.E (keywords can be more than just one word from the input utterance) technique. The logic and flow of SWD will be presented along with discussions on issues regarding the limitation and how SWD can be implemented.
