Abstract: The elementary aim of this research work is to determine the properties of the Epoxy Syntactic Foam (ESF) and the factors that will diversify their properties. The ESF used in this experiment was ESF filled with Epoxy Hollow Sphere (EHoS). The EHoS was made by coating the expanded polystyrene (EPS) with Epoxy resin and hardener. Thenceforth, the EPS beads were then shrinking in the oven and therefore the EHoS was formed. The preeminent variables that targeted in this research are basically the wall thickness and cell distribution. Three different wall thickness of EPS was embedded with CaCO3 were studies in this research. There were a few testing were carried out in the interest of identify the physical and mechanical properties of the different wall thickness EHoS/ESF and different cell distribution. The physical properties of ESF were investigated by the Dino Lite Optical Microscope (OM) aided with image J software to study the cell dimension and distribution.
