A single layer of electrolytic nickel deposition was carried out on aluminum in an aqueous NiS₂O₄ 7H₂O. The study of the concentration of the electrolyte to the electrolysis process was conducted to evaluate the properties of the coated specimen. Electrolytic deposition was carried out using different electrolyte concentration of 0.2 M, 0.4 M, 0.6 M, 0.8 M and 1.0 M. After doing the initial cleaning of the aluminum substrate, the specimen was electroplated and analyzed by a number of tests of Vickers hardness test, test weight, and scanning electron microscope to measure the thickness of nickel was plated.en_US
