Abstract: | In this study, it will be focused on the electroless deposition and concentration of nickel onto hydroxyapatite. This project shows the combining of hydroxyapatite and nickel by the difference weight of percentages. The 20g of hydroxyapatite powder was mix with the nickel powder of 0.2%, 0.4% and 0.6% by the electroless deposition process at stirring speed 350rpm and at temperature 80°C to 83°C. The reducing agent was used for the electroless deposition was sodium hypophosphite. The percentages in Ni-HA was characterized by the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the characterization on Ni-HA sample were carried out based on concentration. Then the process of characterization was proceed with X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Trial experiment (observational analysis). From the field of study, it found that the samples is low concentration of nickel in 0.2%, 0.4% and 0.6%. |
