Abstract: Landfill leachate has generally known as a high strength wastewater that is very difficult to deal and has extracted dissolve and have suspended matter from it. Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) were designed to treat landfill leachate while continuously producing power (voltage output). There different anode were tested in Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) reactor which are black carbon, activated carbon and zinc electrode. In addition, the performance in MFC were tested in Ammonia Nitrogen (NH3-H) concentration, COD concentration and pH three anodes. Gram positive (purple and purplish black bacteria) were obtained from microorganism presents in MFC system at anode electrodes and arrangement of cocci that remains chains after diving are called streptococci.
