Abstract: This study was conducted to evaluate the behavior of precast concrete beam-to-column connection, specifically using the simple type of connection via finite element method. LUSAS ANALYST v13.6 finite element analysis software was used to solve the structural element of precast beam-to-column connection. The selected precast beam-to-column connection models are from previous research, which is originally tested using scale down prototype in a research project by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Material properties for concrete and steel such as Young‟s Modulus and mass density were taken from BS8110 and the load were imposed at on the top of the beam with different type of load which is point load, uniform load and combination of point and uniform load. The result in term of maximum stress, strain and displacement were used to analyze the behavior of the precast beam-to-column connection. From these result, the behavior of the connection model is determined such as the stress, strain and displacement pattern.
