Abstract: Usage of Industrialised building System (IBS) has a lot of increase in foreign countries but Malaysia still remain low level due to the higher initial cost and lack of skilled worker. The purpose of this research is to focus for the assessment of the general knowledge and application of Industrialised Building System (IBS) in Perlis state (Malaysia). To analyze where the construction companies and public work department (JKR-Perlis) have the adequate knowledge about IBS system and how many level have been completed their project by using IBS methods, the questionnaires were disturbed and there were 30 respondents who answered the question where the respondents obtained from three different towns around Perlis state. All of the collected data will be analyze by using SPSS software. Based on the survey analysis results, most of the respondents do not have sufficient knowledge to replace their conventional-used projects by using eco-friendly and cost saving IBS methods. Nevertheless, most of the respondent has a positive point of view towards IBS and which can be one of the reason that IBS can be totally substitute currently using conventional method.
