dc.description.abstractThe textile material used in this research is glass fibre. In generally, glass fibre are designed for reinforcement of plastered finished to plasterboard joint and it is also suitable for flat joints and repairs to small area of damaged plasterboard. Besides, glass fibre in concrete is used to protect pre-crack tensile strength, fatigue strength, impact strength, eliminate temperature and shrinkage cracks to the concrete and glass fibre is also an alkali resistance material. The proportion of glass fibre is added into concrete by 1%, 2% and 3% (based on cement weight). The purpose of this research is to anlyse the properties of textile reinforced concrete as compared to the conventional conrete. The properties is included workability, density, compressive strength and flexural strength. Several sample were casted and cured by using normal curing and tested at 1, 3, 7, 28 and 56 days.en_US
