dc.description.abstractThis research presents a research study for optimizing decisions on the best combination of preventive road maintenance treatment and looks into prioritization based on a model including all the effects of important factors such as safety, time taken to repair and cost of maintenance. Since it is difficult to define a model that introduces all those factors, a more advanced decision making support system named fuzzy logic was constructed. The basic premises of fuzzy logic system are presented as detailed analysis to convert human reasoning to linguistic variables. Finally, with the help of MATLAB software, a satisfactory precision can be obtained.en_US
