Abstract: The study of this paper is to monitor the concrete curing process using Hyper Terminal software between two different samples of concrete mixtures. One is normal concrete mixture as a control sample and another is the mixture of concrete with 100 % of polystyrene. From that all the samples was replaced under two different conditions for curing process which is under the room with 25 ⁰C and under room 40 ⁰C. So from that the temperature was record using thermocouple that insert at the middle of the concrete cube and temperature was started record from fresh concrete until the concrete achieve 7 day age using Hyper Terminal Software. Then the strength of concrete was test used the Universal Compression Test machine (UTM) and Rebound Hammer (RH). From water absorption test, temperature test, compressive strength test and Rebound Hammer test (RH) can compared between two different of concrete mixtures. In this study sample that cured under room temperature 40 ⁰C has high value of temperature at the beginning of the concrete stage. From this condition the physical of concrete showed some cracking on the concrete surface this is because the moisture of mixture is hydrate faster during curing process. For compressive strength test of concrete the higher strength is achieve at the early age of concrete but strength will decrease on later age. Concluded the higher temperature value at the early stage of concrete will make the hydration process faster and cracking will occur. So temperature of fresh concrete and condition of curing process is an important parameter that need to concern to avoid the cracking and it also can save the construction cost for repairing the building.
