Abstract: Poly[2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV) is an electroluminescence polymer, widely utilized in the fabrication of optical display such as Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED). The multilayer structure OLED is fabricated by sandwiching one layer of spin coated MEH-PPV between two electrodes. The benefits of OLED are focused on aspects of contrast, thinness and viewing angle of the device. However there are challenges in form of brightness uniformity, efficiency, degradation and lifetime of the device.
