dc.description.abstractThis project is an attempt to use chemically modified egg shell for oil absorbent materials. Normally egg shell is most often thrown away or discarded. Here, instead of throwing away, the egg shell is first pulverized to powder af appropriate size. Before final washing and drying, the powder is modified physically and chemically using some simple treatment to make it suitable as absorbent.en_US
