Abstract: Electroluminescence polymer is widely utilized in the fabrication of optical display. Nowdays, attractional optical display application is toward Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED). MEH-PPV OLED is an example of organic semiconductor, which can be produced in large area and on flexible substrate. Spin coating, ink-jet printing and PDV are the familiar techiniques used to fabricate OLED. The benefits of OLED are focused on aspects of contrast, thinness and viewing angle of the device. However, there are challenges in form of brightness uniformity, efficiency, and lifetime of the device.
Description: Nurjuliana and her team won bronze for Yellow-Orange MEH-PPV Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED). ITEX 2007, 18th - 20th May 2007 was held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur.
