Abstract: Blend of low molecular weight poly(vinyl chloride)/acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (LMWPVC/NBR) were produced by in-situ mixing technique using a Haake Rheomix Polydrive R 600/610 at 150°C with a rotor speed of 50 rpm. Blend ratio of plastic to rubber was fixed as 70:30 (phr) with five different amounts of DOP each sample LMWPVC/NBR/DOP (e.g. 70/30/0, 70/30/5, 70/30/10, 70/30/15 and 70/30/20 (phr)). Properties of the sample were characterized by using tensile machine, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA.
