Abstract: This paper presents Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) power amplifier design. Four basic steps are introduced. Bipolar technology is used for this design. Stability network, output matching and filter are designed at the output of bipolar transistor. Finally the output power of 20dBm, gain of 10dB are achieved with final design at 2.4GHz. Total DC current consumption is 200mA. All designs are done using Agilent Advanced Design System.
