Abstract: Nowadays, steel are hard metal and widely used in the industry. The hardness metal of steel are high and corrosion resistance. Unfortunately, now the steel has a low mechanical properties and microstructure of particles because it easy to crack when subjected to high pressure. The existing Molybdenum alloys have moderate mechanical properties. Therefore, to enhance this mechanical properties hybrid microwave technology (advanced manufacturing processing) was employed. This experiment have 7 samples that include Ferum in sample 1 and Ferum (Fe) was mixed with 12% of Chromium (Cr). Sample 2 until 7 was used same weight of Ferum (Fe) and Chromium (Cr). The mixture in each sample 3 until 7 are contains 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% of molybdenum (Mo). The results shows that sample 5 are the best in high density, low porosity, increase hardness and compressive strength. Hardness was improved by increasing the percent on Mo. However, this is true for sample at 6 at 20% of Molybdenum. Sample 3 are second strongest followed by sample 7, 5 and last sample was 4. The maximum stress was achieved in sample 5 at 151.400N/mm2 that contain 20% of molybdenum.
