Abstract: The inventory system is a quantity of goods product and was storing in warehouse by a business that is intended either for resale or as a raw materials and components used in producing goods that the business sells. This study was conducted in order to improve the layout of inventory in finishing product by using Lean-Six Sigma approaches. This study was focusing in the warehouse of finishing product because the management in the inventory is bad. Due to this problem, customer order need to hold around two days. Based on the observation, several potential causes and problem was identified which can cause the customer waiting. To improve this problem, the DMAIC, Cause and Effect diagram, Five Why Method and Lean Manufacturing tool was using. The propose improvement was focused on the customer demand per two weeks and the layout of an inventory in the warehouse to ensure the customer’s order can get on the right time.
