dc.description.abstractPerlis is one of the major producers of "Batu Reput" in Malaysia and majority of the deposits contain of high-purity calcium and magnesium carbonate. The composition of Batu Reput is similar with the ordinary dolomite. Currently, the 'Batu Reput' is used as filler in the road construction, however with this new invention, it can be value added and maximized its application in the daily life, for example as construction materials, decorative products, souvenir and etc. This paper presents the fabrication of Artificial Marble from 'Batu Reput' and in this case, it was used as filler in the matrix of epoxy which is acted as a binder.en_US
