Abstract: Design and development of the vibrating sifter system for the existing design of dried chilli seed separating machine based on the problem existing which to design the adjustable vibrating system of the sifter and the mounting system of the motor. This is because sifter‟s length from the machine cannot be controlled. So, the movement of the chilli skin out the machine cannot be controlled. Besides that the mounting motor of the existing sifter produces noise while operating. This not good for the customer since its will affect the hearing ability of the customer if frequently uses. The final concept design is been identified by using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods that consist of house of tools, scoring method, and screening method. The CAD drawing of the project also been done to make the static analysis simulation in the CATIA software. The analyses have been done such as Finite Element Analysis, Force analysis, and cost analysis. The simulation of the CATIA, the redesign is much better than the existing design in terms of application and the comfortable of the customers.
