The purpose of this research is to develop a new framework which integrates the Fit manufacturing with the value stream mapping (VSM) namely Fit-VSM. The Fit manufacturing integrates the principles from Lean manufacturing, Agility manufacturing and Sustainability manufacturing. Since there is a lack of integrating the Fit principles into a continuous improvement for the production line, this framework has to be developed. After the literature review has been conducted, the information and methodology which relate to the Fit principles on the current application of VSM have been discussed. The Fit-VSM is developed by using Six Sigma method, DMADV. The data is collected from FRUTANIA to draw the Fit-VSM current state map. Moreover, the Fit-VSM future state map is created and simulated by FlexSim software. The result shows that the Fit-VSM framework is successfully developed as it could demonstrate the Fit performances. While the Fit-VSM current state is validated by FlexSim simulation with showing similar productivity rate and capacity. The Fit-VSM future state is created with reduce 13.62% of VA time 23.2% of NVA time and increase the Fit performances score by 1 compare with the Fit-VSM current state. The comparison of the Fit-VSM and traditional VSM is conducted to prove that it is more beneficial than the traditional VSM.en_US
