This project is about the design and fabrication of a water for high impact penetrator. The High impact penetration is as a tool to accelerate projectiles to hypervelocity speed with different mass of explosives. The problem occurs in the previous product is was a failure on the part of the components on it. Modifications have been done so that the product can survive when the experiment is carried out. The overall project involves a variety of methods used to collect data and information from books and journals. Boothroyd and Dewhurst is a method used in the assembly and installation of explosion during testing. The design for assembly is a suitable method used in this study. This method can measure the time and cost required for any parts that are found in high impact penetrator. In addition, this project was carried out to investigate the level of resistance on the part of a critical point when the test explosion conducted. One of the methods used in this study is the method of analysis, numerical methods and physical methods. For analytical methods, the expression is used in common, “johnson Cook Model”, “Mie- Gruneisen model” and “Longitudinal stress” is used to find the pressure resulting from the explosion in the barrel and chamber explosion. For numerical analysis, AUTODYN software is suitable software that be used for simulation explosion. Finally, experiments conducted have achieved results as expected.en_US
