Abstract: Design and analysis of wind tunnel for scale model analysis was the research for built a device that use in aerodynamics research to study the effect of air flow past to an object produced by a fan that was powered by a motor. The wind tunnel was designed to observe, demonstrate and investigate the characteristic of air by using smoke flow as the indicator to illustrate the airflow past an object. This research was discussed about the beginning plan, history, design consideration, wind tunnel types, guideline, systematic procedure and validation process to design and analysis the subsonic open-circuit of the wind tunnel. Mathematical modelling was chosen to conduct the designing process and will be validate by using CFD software at Solid Work 2014. The cross-sectional was set up at 200mm x 200mm to fit the ratio size 1:24 based on scale car model to represent the original object. The wind tunnel was designed for the focus group where the velocity can produced by this wind tunnel is 31.73 m/s.
