Abstract: In recent years, increasing number of researches has been conducted in view of achieving sustainable development without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In line with this, the School of Environmental Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) has initiated the very first International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering (CENVIRON2017) that will become a perfect platform for academia and the industry to discuss and exchange ideas on the latest development and recent findings on topics related to green and sustainable development.
