Abstract: 8YSZ and transition elements (Mn, Fe, Zn and Co) were investigated in these present researches which were crystal structure and ionic conductivity. All the ceramic samples was fabricated by conventional solid-state reaction method with composition of Fe2O3 (1, 2 and 3 mol%), MnO2 (1, 2 and 3 mol%), ZnO(1, 2 and 3 mol%), and Co2O5 (1, 2 and 3%). The processing parameter was same for all composition. The calcinations process performed at 1000 oC and sintering was done at 1550oC in air hold for two hours and heating rate at 10 oC/min. All the compositions undergoes characterization tool. XRF used for elemental analysis and chemical analysis. Decomposition reactions either heat absorption or liberation by using DTA while detect the loss in mass and degradation by TGA. Percentages of densification and porosity of the sintered sample were calculated by using Archimedes principle. Phase transformation, phase content and crystal structure of doped sintered 8YSZ undergoes by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-Pert High Score Plus Software was undergo refinement by using Rietveld Method. In addition, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) observed the morphology surface of sample. Finally, the ionic conductivity of all sintered samples was determined by Impedance spectroscopy.
