Abstract: This present study investigated about influence of temperature on reduction behaviour in iron ore and coal composite pellet. The objectives about this research were to analyse the reduction behaviour between iron ore and coal composite pellets by using different reduction temperature, to identify the best proportions of coal and iron ore composite pellets by considering the rate of reduction process and lastly to investigate the chemical and physical properties of composite pellets with the different reduction temperature and proportions using different analytical tools. All composite pellets were characterization and analyse by X-Ray Fluorescent (XRF) analysis, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis, Thermal Gravimetric (TGA) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The morphology shows the increasing reduction temperature, increased the formation of metallic iron. As for the coal percentages increase, the reduced of iron ore also increase. For thermal composition of iron ore increased with the increasing reduction temperature and coal percentages. The reduction process is very important to primary processing of steelmaking process until now.
