Abstract: This research is conduct to study mechanical and properties of Nickel Zinc Ferrite NiZnOFe₂O₄ as the reinforcement filler to improve the mechanical and thermoelectric properties of polyester to produce thermoelectric materials. The ratio for filler used in this research is varied, which is Nix Zn (1-x) Fe₂O₄, (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0). All the element, Nickel Oxide(NiO), Zinc Oxide (ZnO) and Fe₂O₄ powder are weight and then mixed using a mortar and shape into pellet using mould for pellet. After that the pellet are sintered at temperature 1100 0C and 1200 0C for 6 hours with 100C /min heating rate. Then the sample were characterized using X-ray diffraction to measure the composition and phase present, density of the sample, optical microscope, thermal testing and lastly , a hardness testing is to measure the hardness of the sample. From the experiment and analysis conducted, the mechanical, thermal and thermoelectric properties of filler, NiZnOFe₂O₄ and the polymer composite is determined.
