Abstract: Flyback Switch Mode Power Supply is normally and widely used in low power application. It is similar to Buck-Boost Derived Converter except Flyback Converter includes a Flyback transformer to provide isolation and act as an inductor in the Flyback system. By performing a reverse design on a Flyback Converter Evaluation Kit, knowledge about Flyback Converter topologies, operation and characteristic can be obtained. This is also to enhance skill in designing a switch mode power supply. Waveform measurement and data collection provides more information and knowledge on Flyback topologies, operation and characteristic. This practice will help to enhance the skill in measuring waveform and collecting data. Testing a hardware will help to develop skill in testing and troubleshooting a circuit.
