Abstract: | This project is intended to aid student in learning and understanding Fault Analysis method and concept. It is based on Visual Basic (VB) Programming software as simulation tools for Fault Analysis. This also helps lecturer in teaching or presenting in e-learning way. Fault Analysis is quite hard to understand without proper study. This is because it involves in calculating equation which is quite long using manual calculation technique. Fault studies form an important part of power system analysis. Faults on power systems are divided into three-phase balanced faults and unbalanced faults. Different types of unbalanced faults are single line-to-ground fault, line-to-line fault, and double line-to-ground faults. With the help of interactive software created by using visual basic; perhaps student can easily remember the formula or calculation method. |
