dc.description.abstractThe objective of this project is to design the Rogowksi coil for lightning current detector. The advantage of the Rogowski coil, it has no saturation and will not damaged the coil by over current or over voltage situation. A study has been done to determine the characteristic of lightning. The implementation of this project is connecting the Rogowski coil to the integrator circuit. For integrator circuit, the voltage is proportional with the current which can be observed using the digital oscilloscope. This simulation is used to see the output from the integrated circuit. The suitable PSIM's software simulator is used to show the output waveform that is on shaped of triangle wave or saw tooth wave. Lastly, the result from the simulation can be referred as datum to the ratio of current transformer. Thus, this project can be used as an equipment to measure the lightning current.en_US
