dc.description.abstractThis report will explain about the final year project title as “ Designing and Commisioning the 11kV Electrical Substation”. In the part of designing this electrical substation, it need to localize and installation a several equipment or apparatus like high voltage switching, three phase transformer, high voltage cabel, charging battery and low voltage distribution board together with other equipment that need. The purpose of constructing this electrical substation is to provide the electrical energy to consumer in the housing area and industrial sector. After finishing the design of the 11kV substation, the next process is to testing this substation and this work must get the permission from the empowered side before it can be operate. Every electrical equipment in the substation must have undergo several test like insulation test, continuity test and the other test to make sure that the equipment that use according to the specification that have been fixed. This is to ensure each electrical substation that had built can be operating in a good condition and safety with no disturbance.en_US
