Abstract: The presence of dyes in various industrial effluents is a major problem due to their adverse effect to many forms of life. Wastewater containing dyes presents a serious environmental problem due to its high toxicity which contributes to water pollution. Dyes are known to have strong colour, high chemical oxygen demand (COD) and low biodegradability. This research focused on treatment dye industrial effluent by using ozone O3 and ozone with hydrogen peroxide O3/H2O2 whereas advanced oxidation processes AOPs are put on in order to remove colour coming from textile wastewater. The method aims to improve the operational parameters such as contact time in addition to H2O2 dosage for O3/H2O2 two treatment methods of O3 and O3/H2O2 have been used. This scope study in this research focuses on treatment of azo absorbs dyes industrial effluents by means of ozonation. The treatment efficiency is compared and evaluated with regard to colour and COD. Though, the oxidation merchandise are characterized based on the in the ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) in addition to Fourier transforms-infrared (FT-IR) variety. O3 flowrate are going to be applied, with various dosage of 0.33, 0.67, 1.00 in addition to 1.33 mL. H2O2/L Dye at pH 7. Other than that, the O3 in addition to optimum H2O2 dosage were applied to the study on the effects of pH (3, 5, 7, 9, 11) together with the initial concentration or even 100, 300, 500 mg/L. The experimental were conducted on the room temperature along with different contact time of 0, 1, a couple of, 3, 5, 10, 15 in addition to 20 min. Finally, the results ended up withdrawn at definite intervals for analyses.
