dc.description.abstract | Coins are a vital necessity in our daily lives. We use a coin in any retail shops, banks, using public transport, in the process of purchasing and others. Therefore, it becomes a basic requirement in which coins can be sorted and counted automatically. For this, it is necessary that the coins can be recognized automatically. In this project, I will be using Artificial Neural Network (ANN), and it provides effective results for solving some classes of problems. Neural networks have been widely used in image and signal processing. In this project, I will develop Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based automatic identification system for the recognition of Malaysian coins in denominations of 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents and 50 cents a rotation invariant. By taking a picture of both sides of the coin will help to get a more accurate image of the coin and can be adjusted perfectly when doing some recognition for Malaysian coins. | en_US |
