Abstract: | This final year project presents how a meta-surface can mitigate body coupling of WBAN antenna at frequency range 2.40-2.45GHz Several studies have been done such as type of meta-surfaces, effect electromagnetic (EM) coupling to body, techniques in mitigating body coupling, equipment that will used and so on. The antenna is designed by using CST (computer simulation technology) studio suite 2014. Meta-surface is a main keyword to this project. To mitigate the body coupling in human body, metasurface is one of the solutions to reduce the coupling. Several function of meta-surface are to reduced the back radiation and propagation performance, to enhance the bandwidth and gain, and to reduce a coupling reduction. This project is divided into two main parts, which is in hardware and also in software design. |
