Severe haze environment makes a problem to image scenery. In order to produce a high resolution of a haze-free image, filter is being utilized as a part of request to evacuate haze. Since filter is in the forefront of image processing for filtering, it is crucial to have a good understanding on the filtering algorithms. This paper develops and analyzes the performance of advance filters namely Mean filter, Median filter, Gaussian Filter and Laplacian filter. Four different advance filters are applied to various images with severe haze in it. Addition of enhancement technique is taken to achieve a high resolution image and hence, prove the best filtering process.en_US
