Abstract: The aim of image segmentation of image processing is the segment of the image in homogeneous locales. In this paper, it will be perform an analysis for image segmentation in view of adaptive thresholding which is proposed and applied to different type of images. The threshold value are determined through an adaptive procedure that decides the ideal number of histogram locales and, in the meantime, endeavors to minimize the ideal probability quality got from the particular segment of the histogram. The primary peaks of the histogram are chosen as seeds for the beginning parcel of the histogram. Besides that, the adaptive threshold was tested in various ways by implementing different type of image filtering. Hence, to approve the proposed technique, the adaptive threholding method will be compared with global thresholding utilizing the Otsu method for people annotation.
