Final year project focuses on the investigation and manufacture of textile sensor. Pressure sensors have been selected for this project. Several studies have been done such as the type of fabric, type of sensor, hardware and so on. Arduino 2560 has been selected as a center for collecting data received from the sensor, and it was also chosen because Arduino supports open source and easy to operate. The project is divided into two main parts, the first part is the software. Software division involve sensors that will be designed in CST software. In addition, the Arduino IDE will be used to program Arduino 2560 and LabVIEW will be used to display the output was sent by the Arduino 2560. The second part involves the hardware such as Arduino 2560, computers, and so on. First of all, this project can measure and recognize the type of sitting even the different weight and size of the body of a person who is sitting on the sensor, Secondly, this project able to detect the correct and incorrect posture sitting clinical manner. When the sensor is fully functional and integrated with the hardware, it is the key to the future of health care platform and it will make it easier for users to monitor their health and activities with ease.en_US
