Abstract: New technology has increased the danger of traffic and road accidents that occur frequently causing loss of life and property. Therefore, the automatic traffic monitoring system gradually attracted the attention of researchers in the field of intelligent transport systems. Therefore, in the project, a cost-effective approach based on GSM for automatic traffic incident detection is proposed. This project will provide an optimal solution to reduce the death rate by using the vibration sensor and GSM. This system has hardware (circuits) and software to build a graphical user interface (GUI) using Labview to process the data. The sensors will be installed into the Vehicles on each side of the vehicle. Moreover, an SMS will be sent to the user after the accident. This system will assist in search and rescue vehicle involved in the accident.
