Abstract: Remote sensing is widely used for mapping the earth surface normally by satellite. In military, they are using UAV to implement the same vision like remote sensing but it using other application. This thesis was made to design the used of collocated antennas instead of distributed antennas for implementing the remote sensing application and mount the antenna on UAV platform. The type of antenna used is based on microstrip patch antenna in form of array. The collocated antenna used corporate-series feed network as design concept and it operate at operating frequency of 5.3GHz. System that involved to perform this remote sensing application is synthetic aperture radar (SAR). The SAR is placed inside the UAV and then connected with the collocated antenna mounted on UAV platform. In this research, this project use the ADS 2014 software as a platform to design and simulate. It involves two cells to design the antenna which are schematic cell and layout cell that available inside ADS 2014. Then, it has been simulated in form of far field visualization. At this section, result for both gain and directivity can be obtained.
